Custom Engineering Power

Some jobs can’t be solved with a catalog. When your application calls for something outside the range of standard distribution equipment — unusual amperage requirements, non-standard enclosure configurations, specialized inlet and outlet combinations, or unique environmental constraints — Gehr Power Systems’ engineering team builds it from the ground up.

We’ve been designing and manufacturing custom 3-phase and single-phase temporary power systems since our founding. That background gives us the experience to take on complex, first-of-kind requirements and deliver equipment that performs exactly as specified — on time and built to last.

How It Works

Our engineering process is direct and collaborative. You tell us what the job requires — load demands, physical constraints, connection types, environmental conditions — and we work with you to spec a solution that fits. Once the design is approved, we build it at our facility in Santa Fe Springs, CA, using the same quality components and manufacturing standards applied to our full product line.

Use the Request a Quote form to describe your inlet type, outlet requirements, panel size, and any other specifications. One of our team members will follow up to work through the details with you.

Who Relies on Custom Engineering Power

Custom engineering work typically comes from clients with specialized needs that standard products can't meet:

Electrical contractors managing complex temporary power plans
Facility engineers and project managers specifying equipment for unique venues
Film and production companies with specialized on-set power requirements
Industrial operators requiring custom-configured field distribution
Government and military procurement teams with specific compliance requirements
Any contractor or organization whose job simply doesn't fit a standard panel
